Minutes:  The minutes of March 16, 2008 were approved by all as written, and with the updated changes made by Ron Quadros.

Treasurer’s Report:  Larry Johnson read the report.  We have received $445 in trophy money for the Friendship Meet.  A motion was made, seconded, and all agreed to accept as read.

OLD BUSINESS:

Lost Creek Friendship Meet:  Linda Quadros passed around a sign-up sheet of the various committees for members to pick where they would like to work.  Betty and Larry Johnson, and Ron and Linda Quadros counted the T-shirts and hats that are left over from 2006 and 2007.  We have a lot of shirts left and they are being offered to members only for $3.00 each.  Hats are offered to members only for $5.00 each.  A motion was made, seconded, and all agreed to sell these shirts for $5.00 and the hats for $10.00 at the Friendship Meet.  We will have more discussion on prices before August to decide if we should lower them.

Members are asked to please begin looking for raffle prizes for the raffle table.  If you plan on camping before the meet, be sure to reserve your space.  This can be done on line or you can call Stewart Park for camping spaces.

Prices for sponsoring trophies are $30 and $60.  We are looking for someone to make the trophies.  If you know of someone, please contact Glenn Cave @ 951-7787.  We are also looking for someone to sponsor the dash plaques.  Again, if you have someone in mind, please contact Glenn.

Inventory:  Glenn Cave did a complete inventory of the trailer that is stored at Harold Hardesty’s place.  The list will be kept with the director’s records.

Christmas Party:  Linda Brouwer contacted the Hungry Woodsman for availability and menu options.  Linda and Joanne Susskind went there on Saturday to look at the room and make sure the size will work for us, and to discuss the menu and set up.  They are able to accommodate us in a separate room with a sit down dinner on Saturday, December 13, 2008.  Linda distributed a copy of the menu, which has 5 dinner choices that are all inclusive for $20 each.  A motion was made, seconded, and all agreed to accept the arrangements as presented.  Linda also asked the Hungry Woodsman about sponsoring a trophy and they said they would sponsor more then one.  Glenn Cave talked to them the next day and learned they will sponsor 3 trophies for us!!

DIRECTOR'S NOTES

Thank you to all that assisted in making our 31st car show such a success.  We can not thank the Rogue Valley Street Rodders and Eagle Members enough for their assistance in parking the show cars.  Make sure you come to the September meeting to hear what a great success the Friendship Meet was.  We will also critique the show to see if improvements can be made.
