Past Activities
Every year on the third Sunday in August, CASO puts on the area's best show in the most beautiful setting, Stewart State Park on the shore of Lost Creek Lake.  The location is about 30 miles up Highway 62 from Medford, Oregon.  It is a wonderful way to spend a relaxing Sunday.  This is CASO's major fund raiser and it is always a success.  Above are pictures from our 2008 show.  As you can see, we welcome all vehicles and have a class for everyone.  The trophies, donated by area businesses and residents, are two and three places deep.  The best thing is it is free to show your vehicle and there is no charge to look at them.  Bring your picnic lunch, or purchase something to eat from the park's concessionaire and spend the whole day leisurely walking through the almost 400 classic vehicles from days gone by, restored to their original showroom condition by their proud owners.  The next Friendship Meet is scheduled for August 16, 2009 and we hope to see you there with your classic or just to dream a little.
Every year the local Rogue Valley Street Rods hold a Rod and Custom Show at the Jackson County Expo in Central Point, Oregon.  CASO has for many years helped by taking tickets at the door all day Saturday.  We also submit a club display plan, which has, so far, been accepted by the RVSR.  The profits from this show are donated the Child Development and Rehibilitaion Center - Oregon Health and Science University, which total $317,000.00 through 2006.  CASO is proud to do our part and this year our club display was awarded second place.  The pictures above show the display.  This show was held February 17-18, 2007.
